The price for the all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee has been released. The vehicle will be offered at dealers for a U.S. Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price of $22,995.
The automaker noted that the Cherokee is hundreds of dollars less than the outgoing Liberty model, while at the same time offers better fuel economy, handling and more safety and technology features. In addition, the Cherokee also has best-in-class 4x4 capability and segment-first nine-speed transmission; it will be the first to use Chrysler's new 3.2 Pentastar V-6 engine.
"The all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee is entering the largest SUV segment in North America with an unmatched combination of capability, fuel efficiency, technology, safety and value," said Mike Manley, president and CEO - Jeep Brand, Chrysler Group LLC. "Jeep Cherokee is absolutely packed with content that includes numerous industry and segment 'firsts' that directly translate to a tremendous value for consumers shopping in the mid-size SUV segment, which boasts 2 million sales annually in North America and 5 million globally."
The Jeep Cherokee will be available during the third quarter of 2013 and will be offered in four different trim levels: sport, latitude, limited and trailhawk.
Those considering purchasing a new car during the third quarter are reminded to keep its interior free of stains with Husky Liners® custom fit floor mats. These floor mats will keep spills and stains off the car's carpet and on the liner, making cleanup easy.
