To the Editor of the New York Times,
Earlier today I asked Tom to read me the day’s headlines and he immediately changed the subject. When I pressed him again he hesitated and then told me that I may want to skip today’s headlines and go for a walk because it’s a beautiful day. Long story short, he finally read me this article about Scott Walker being allergic to dogs and how it may affect his chances at the Republican nomination. As a dog, please allow me to put this issue to bed for the overly-sensitive “Toms” of the world… WE DON’T CARE! If you’re allergic to dogs, you can’t help it. We have dander with a capital “D” and no amount of special dandruff shampoo is going to change that. There’s no reason that Scott’s dander allergy should matter one iota. Heck, I’m allergic to polyester but does that mean that I don’t want to be around Tom and his weird yoga pants? I guess that’s a bad example.
All the best,
