Thank you for your review and thank you for choosing Husky Liner products! You are correct in noting that this mud guard does accommodate the factory running board and it does include an inward indention because of this. The factory running board is very common, but not all LT models have it. The mud guards do use the two factory “fastener” located in the mounting area. One mounting location has a screw and the other a “push in” style fastener. The push in fastener will not secure the mud guard in place securely so we call for its removal and provide a screw and u-clip to replace it. The two remaining locations do require drilling and use of a provided screws. Our installation methods follow right along with those of the OEM’s as drilling a hole in the fender is the most secure method of attaching a mud guard.
