They were easy to attach. I was worried about ground clearance so I trimmed an inch off with a utility knife.

Steve Bower, Engineering Manager

Thank you for your reply! We are not aware of any inference issues related to the length of the Envoy mud guards during normal use. If you were towing a heavy load, the ground clearance would be lessened. Entering a driveway with a steep angle can also lead to the mud guards rubbing the ground.

I received my mudflaps incredibly fast. They look good. My only critical comment is they were somewhat difficult to install.
Good function but strange looks. -

Overall pleased with front guards. Only negatives are moulded depression in middle of flap, For nerf bar to fit?. and drilling required. Only one factory fastener lines up for mounting. I also purchased rear flaps which has same mounting scenario. Purchased these guards for mud, snow, ice protection.

Thank you for your review and thank you for choosing Husky Liner products! You are correct in noting that this mud guard does accommodate the factory running board and it does include an inward indention because of this. The factory running board is very common, but not all LT models have it. The mud guards do use the two factory “fastener” located in the mounting area. One mounting location has a screw and the other a “push in” style fastener. The push in fastener will not secure the mud guard in place securely so we call for its removal and provide a screw and u-clip to replace it. The two remaining locations do require drilling and use of a provided screws. Our installation methods follow right along with those of the OEM’s as drilling a hole in the fender is the most secure method of attaching a mud guard.

Instructions were written for another product. Follow the holes in the flap, not the directions. The clear fender tape that is supposed to protect the paint sucks in the worst way. I guess we will see in time.
Disappointed -

Disappointed that holes were not matched up with original fender holes. Had to remove tires to install which should have been unnecessary. Fit was not good regarding attach points on my 09' Colorado.

Steve Bower, Engineering Manager

Thank you for your review and thank you for choosing Husky Liner products! The 2009 Chevrolet Colorado has 3 different fender shapes and we have 3 different mud guards to match up to those shapes. The mud guards you have are for the model that has the small, thin flares. It is possible you have the larger flares on your truck? Could you possibly send some photos to me at sbower@huskyliners.com and so we can assist with this fitment issue?

Work Great, but overpriced. -

Dually mud guards went in as advertised, very simple installation. Took a total of 30 minutes to install. I used a right angle drill, otherwise you'd have to remove the tires to drill the holes. Overall quality is excellent, the only criticism is the price. $85 for two pieces of plastic is outrageous but all the other brands are priced similarly.

Steve Bower, Engineering Manager

Thank you for your review and thank you for choosing Husky Liner products! Hopefully the protection the mud guard provide will justify their costs. Please do call us at 800-344-8759 or e-mail me at sbower@huskyliners.com if you have any further questions or comments.

did not fit my vehicle as described -

Website made it easy to order what was supposed to be the correct part for my vehicle. The product was shipped on time and looked to be of very good quality. While the mud guards seemed to fit the form of my vehicle perfectly, the pre-drilled holes were all about 1/4" off.

Steve Bower, Engineering Manager

Thank you for your review and thank you for choosing Husky Liner products! I see from the part number provided that you ordered mud guards for a current body style Chevrolet truck. These would fit 2014-2016 Silverado 1500’s and 2015-2016 Silverado 2500/3500HD trucks. We are not aware of any fitment issues on these trucks. Please do call us at 800-344-8759 or e-mail me at sbower@huskyliners.com and we will try and resolve the issue.

Time will tell??? -

Fit and look is very good, the question I have is in the overall design of the guard. Unlike the matching front guards, these have a large pocket that I see trapping mud and water in, I ended up drilling 3 drain holes in the guard to allow some of this to drain out, we'll see how they hold up to the slush & ice of a Wisconsin winter.

Steve Bower, Engineering Manager

Thank you for your purchase and for your review! The "pocket" in the mud guard is a design feature to accommodate the undercut created by the shape of the fender flare. The pocket is open along the inside edge (under the vehicle) to allow any trapped moisture or debris to escape. Drilling a hole into the back of the mud guard is unnecessary.

Protective film doesn't stick very well. Can not use with oversize tires, the tires rub the mud flaps.

Steve Bower, Engineering Manager

Thank you for your feedback! Our mud guards are designed to fit factory tire and wheel combinations. They often fit oversize tire/wheel combo's as well--but it would be impossible to test fit them with every combination out there. If the tires seem close to the fenders, please send us a couple of photos. We can often tell if there is going to be an issue. Interference normally occurs when the tires are turned sharply to either direction. If you would like a replacement set of film, please give us a call at 800-344-8759 and we can get you that. Please note that the instructions call for use of PrepSol or a similar product to remove all traces of road oils and waxes from the installation area as these can affect the tackiness of the film locations. At the minimum wash the area very well with soap and water.

Cover very well. The protective film doesn't stick and they will not work with over size tires, the tires rub them.
