Asked Questions.
We are sure that in the presentation
and/or discussions with customers, the following questions could be asked
of you. We have assembled these questions in a F.A.Q. (Frequently Asked
Questions) format, in hopes that our customers will better understand
our exceptionally unique SUV Storage Box that we now manufacture.
SUV Storage Box
Q. What material are the storage box and
drawer made from?
A. The storage box is constructed of lightweight aircraft type aluminum
with the top and drawer bottom made from 3/4” plywood.
Q. What kind of materials
is the drawer slide made out of?
A. The drawer is on extruded aluminum glides and has polyurethane wheels.
Q. What applications does
the storage box fit?
A. They fit full size SUVs including: 2000-05 Chevy/GMC Suburban/Yukon
XL/Denali XL/Yukon Denali XL/Tahoe/Yukon, 2002-05 Cadillac Escalade &
2003-05 Cadillac ESV; 2000-05 Ford Excursion, 97-2002 Ford Expedition
& 98-2002 Lincoln Navigator; and 2003-05 Hummer H2.
Q. Will I need a drill to
install the storage box?
A. No, our storage boxes are designed to install using existing factory
features, (3rd seat bracket, cargo tie down holes).
Q. What tools will I need
for installation?
A. You will need some common tools such as: screwdriver, allen wrenches,
combination end wrenches, socket wrench, torx wrench.
Q. Will the SUV Storage Box
require any special maintenance?
A. No. Your drawer unit should be treated as you would the exterior of
your vehicle. Wash with gentle soap and water and rinse well. A good automotive
grad was can be used to protect the surface finish. The easiest way to
clean the drawer liner and the Husky Cargo Liner is with a damp cloth
or sponge. If using a cleaner, 409® or Glass
Plus® works well. Husky Liners’®
unique raised diamond-tread pattern make cleaning the surface much easier
then the competitive liners that use small depressions that can retain
residue in the corners of these depressions.
Q. What is your warranty?
A. Limited one year warranty. Winfield Consumer Products warrants its
SUV Storage Box to be free from defects in material and workmanship of
the product for one year, from the date of purchase, with proof of purchase.
Q. How are the SUV Storage
Boxes‚ packaged for shipment?
A. All of the SUV Storage Boxes are UPS/Fed-Ex-able shipped oversize-3
as individual cartons or shipped by truck freight whether they are as
individual cartons or palletized. The storage boxes are packaged in several
different sizes of boxes depending on the storage box size.

Individual cartons are 200 lb. corrugated
brown kraft. All individual cartons have a UPC bar code label on the side
of the box identifying the contents. The end of each individual carton
has a large white part number label.
Large shipments are generally palletized. All palletized shipments are
skrink-wrapped for security, safety and cleanliness. Pallet sizes are
either 48" x 40" or 42" x 60" with a maximum height
of 92 inches. Most pallets will hold 8 individual cartons of the SUV Storage
Box.
