More Information

Husky Liners® will continue its partnership with Richard Childress Racing in 2013 as a primary sponsor for two races with the No. 2 NASCAR Nationwide Series team and Brian Scott at the wheel.

The Husky Liners® brand will serve as the primary sponsor of the No. 2 Chevrolet Camaro under the lights at Texas Motor Speedway on April 12, 2013 and Bristol Motor Speedway on August 23, 2013.

Husky Liners® will also serve as an associate sponsor throughout the season on Scott's No. 2 Nationwide Series Chevrolet.

"We're glad to continue our association with Richard Childress Racing this year, said Bob Tyler, President of Husky Liners. "They've proven to be a valuable partner to Husky Liners as their fan base aligns with our customer base. We look forward to bringing our brand to a whole new audience in the NASCAR Nationwide Series and given RCR's on track record; we'll be contending for wins."

"It's great to have Husky Liners come on board for the night races at Texas Motor Speedway and Bristol Motor Speedway," Scott said. "Their products are proven to be durable and tough. It's an honor to be able to represent a company like Husky Liners. I'm looking forward to taking them to Victory Lane with our team."

A native of Boise, Idaho, Brian Scott has been racing competitively since the age of 12. One of his early career highlights came at the 360 Nationals at Skagit Speedway in Alger, Wash., when he competed against an elite field of dirt racers and brought home an impressive second-place finish.

Scott moved to North Carolina in 2006 to make the jump from dirt track racing to NASCAR. He made his NASCAR Camping World Series debut at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in September 2007, before going on to compete in seven Camping World Truck Series events that year.

Scott returned in 2008 to run the full season in the Camping World Truck Series and finished second in the race for the Rookie of the Year title. He claimed his first Camping World Truck Series win at Dover International Speedway in May 2009 and posted seven top-fives and 13 top-10 finishes over the course of the season to finish seventh in the driver championship point standings. That same year, Scott made his first career Nationwide Series start at Nashville Superspeedway.

In 2010, Scott made the jump to full-time Nationwide Series competition and earned one top-five and five top-10 finishes that season en route to finishing as the runner-up for Rookie of the Year honors. His 2011 Nationwide Series campaign earned him one pole award, two top-five finishes and seven top-10 finishes. He scored the Featherlite Most Improved Driver of the Year award and finished eighth in the Nationwide Series driver championship point standings. He returned in 2012 to claim two top-five and 11 top-10 finishes and a second top-10 result in the driver championship point standings. In addition to competing in the Nationwide Series in 2012, Scott returned to the Camping World Truck Series for five races and earned two top-five and three top-10 finishes, including a visit to Victory Lane at Phoenix International Raceway in November.
