F.A.Q. Frequently Asked Questions.

We are sure that in the presentation and/or discussions with customers, the following questions could be asked of you. We have assembled these questions in a F.A.Q. (Frequently Asked Questions) format, in hopes that our customers will better understand our exceptionally unique Husky Heavy Duty Floor Mats that we now manufacture.

Q. Are these mats custom molded?
A. We do offer some mats for particular vehicles that are a custom fit, however they vary by applications. Most of the truck and SUV applications are a custom fit. We also offer a closer custom molded fit in the Husky Floor & Cargo Liners. The Heavy Duty Floor Mats are offered as an alternative to the original Husky Liners® to fit a larger variety of trucks, vans, SUVs, and cars.

Q. Do they come up around the edges?
A. They have a 1/2” lip to contain spills, liquids, and debris.

Q. Is there any trimming required?
A. Depending on the vehicle’s layout, it may require that you trim around the seat brackets and storage areas. The mats are pre-molded with cut-out areas for easy trimming.

Q. Do I need any special tools?
A. No. In most cases the Heavy Duty Floor Mats come complete for easy installation. Some applications require trimming around seat brackets and storage areas. In which case a heavy shear or utility knife can be used.

Q. Your photos look like you have a one piece mat that goes over the hump. Is that possible?
A. It is actually a two piece mat that overlaps in the center, that makes it look like one complete piece.

Q. Why do you have two different designs of mats?
A. The tread design, like on the floor & cargo liners is used mostly on the trucks and SUVs, while the bar design is used mostly on the cars and vans.

Q. Can I use Armorall® or a similar protectant on the surface as a cleaner?
A. Just like on the floor and cargo liners, the use of Armorall®, Son-of-a-Gun® or similiar protectants is highly discouraged as these products make the mat slick. Your mat is made from engineering resin that is lightweight and extremely tough and durable. The easiest way to clean your mat is with a damp cloth or sponge. If using a cleaner, 409® or Glass Plus® works well.

Q. Who offers the most applications when it comes to heavy duty floor mats?
A. Winfield Consumer Products. Currently we offer both front and rear heavy duty floor mats for over 520 different pickups, cars, & SUV applications (in 18 part numbers) dating back to 1980.

Q. I don’t see my vehicle listed, do you have an application?
A. We may, and it just might not be listed in the catalog you have. Check our web site, http://www.huskyliners.com or give us a call at 1-800-344-8759 and we can get you that information. We usually list the most popular vehicles in our literature, however our floor mats should cover just about any vehicle.

Q. What is your warranty?
A. Limited lifetime warranty. Winfield Consumer Products warrants its Heavy Duty Floor Mats to be free from defects and workmanship problems for the life of the product, from the date of purchase, with proof of purchase. Guaranteed not to crack or break.

Q. How are the floor mats packaged for shipment?
A. All Heavy Duty Floor Mats are UPS/RPS-able whether they are individual cartons or master cartons. Floor Mats are packaged in pairs (left & right sides) in three different sizes of boxes depending on the overall size of the floor mat. The box sizes are as follows: (LxWxH). Large front & rear mats are packaged in a box that is 21" x 1.5" x 36". Small front mats are packaged in a box that is 24" x 2" 32". Small rear mats are packaged in a box that is 20" x 1.5" x 21.25".
Individual cartons are 200 lb. corrugated brown kraft. The floor mats are combined together by a plastic hanger with a hang tag. All individual cartons have a white label on the end of the box identifying the contents with a UPC bar code label.
Master cartons are available for all floor mats. These master cartons are brown kraft with blue printing and will hold 4 individual cartons. The master carton is labeled with part numbers and the quantity contained within the master carton.
Large shipments are generally palletized. All palletized shipment are skrink-wrapped for security, safety and cleanliness. Pallet sizes are either 48" x 40" or 42" x 60" with a maximum height of 92 inches. Most pallets will hold 60 individual cartons. A numerical part number schedule is available, which lists pallet configurations and quantities.

Q. What are your customer service/tech support hours?
A. Customer service and technical support hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Standard Time. The toll-free number for United States and Canada is (800) 344-8759.
