The redesigned 2014 Kia Sorento, has recently named to the Kelley Blue Books list of the 10 Best SUV's Under $25,000.

According to the expert editors at KBB named the Sorento has fifth on the list for its spacious interior, refined design, premium features and compact size.

"The Sorento is one of seven all-new or redesigned Kia vehicles scheduled to go on sale this year and continues the brand's legacy of world-class design, desirable technology and exceptional value," said Michael Sprague, executive vice president of marketing and communications for Kia. "Being named to Kelley Blue Book's list of 10 Best SUV's emphasizes Kia's commitment to provide its customers with sophisticated and premium vehicles without the hefty price tag."

Of the parts used to make the Sorento, 80 percent are built from all new or reengineered parts.

Jack Nerad, executive editorial director and executive market analyst for Kelley Blue Book's KBB.com, said the car is big enough for a family of seven, while still being able to easily into that last parking spot. He added that not only is it the right size, it also offers fuel efficiency, a long warranty, and a fun and functional style.

Best used cars for under $10,000
Those looking for a cheaper used car, rather than a $25,000 SUV, would benefit from looking into Cars.com's top 10 used cars for $10,000. Experts chose vehicles from the model years 2006 to 2008.

"Although the price gap between new and used cars has decreased, many shoppers are still going the used route," said Patrick Olsen, Cars.com editor in chief. "We took a look at cars from 2006 or later and came up with the best 10 used cars that shoppers should be able to find for around $10,000. To make our list, the cars had to pass crash tests and have key standard safety features. We also analyzed reliability, drivability and practicality."

Olsen added that when it comes to buying a new car, consumers are often able to negotiate their way to better equipped model at the less price as a less valuable vehicle.

When it comes to buying a car, the importance of a well-maintained vehicle can't be overstated. Those in the market for used car should look to equip Husky Liners® custom fit floor mats into a car's interior. This will protect it from stains and spills and make cleaning easy.

Cars.com's list of the top 10 cars for $10,000 includes the 2006 Ford Escape, 2008 Ford Focus, 2007 Ford Freestyle, 2007 Ford Fusion, 2006 Honda Civic, 2006 Hyundai Azera, 2007 Hyundai Sonata, 2008 Kia Optima, 2008 Nissan Versa and 2007 Scion tC.

Best cars for under $8,000
Earlier this year KBB released its list of the 10 best cars for under $8,000.

"To come up with this handy list of top used cars, first we compiled all the used cars from 2003 and newer with a Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value of less than $8,000 as of January 2013," said Nerad. "Then we went through the list and handpicked the 10 standouts with the most appealing mixes of reliability and desirability. The vehicles on our short list offer incredible value for today's budget-conscious car shopper."

The KBB list of the 10 Best Used Cars Under $8,000 includes the 2003 Acura TL, 2004 Honda Odyssey, 2005 Volvo S60, 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Regular Cab and 2011 Hyundai Accent. Experts at KBB chose the above models for their reliability and overall bang for buck.
